Role Overview
We are establishing a new Memory and Custom Layout Design team in Germany and are looking for experienced layout professionals who enjoy technical ownership, mentoring, and shaping teams.
This is a long-term leadership opportunity for someone who wants to influence how things are built, both technically and culturally — not just execute tasks.
The role combines hands-on layout expertise with team-building and technical leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical leadership in Memory and Custom Layout design

Own layout quality, reviews, and sign-off readiness

Lead and mentor engineers, fostering strong layout fundamentals and best practices

Drive complex layout and sign-off challenges with rigor and attention to detail

Help define and evolve layout flows, methodologies, and technical direction

Collaborate closely with global architecture and circuit design teams

Support the build-up and growth of the team from an early stage
Technical Scope

Memory Layout Design:

SRAM

Register Files

ROMs

Custom Layout Design for complex blocks

Strong exposure to FinFET-based technologies (across leading foundries)

Ownership of layout execution through sign-off
