Job Description – Business Development / Sales Executive (VLSI Services)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in VLSI industry.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with semiconductor companies, design houses, and technology startups.

  • Engage with clients to understand requirements, propose solutions, and position company services effectively.

  • Work closely with technical teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle – lead generation, cold calling, client meetings, negotiations, and closures.

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to enhance market presence.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM tools.


Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in business development/sales in VLSI, semiconductor, or technology services.

  • Understanding of VLSI design flow (RTL to GDSII) and related service offerings.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to engage with engineering managers, project leads, and procurement teams.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online business networking platforms (LinkedIn, etc.).


Good to Have

  • Existing network/contacts in the semiconductor/VLSI ecosystem.

  • Exposure to international sales (US/EU/Asia markets).

  • Knowledge of EDA tools, IP licensing, or semiconductor consulting services.
